MFG, the innovation agency for IT and media evaluates current developments and trends and tests their future relevance for Baden-Wuerttemberg and global markets. Second Life has been proven especially interesting for Baden-Wuerttemberg. The goal is to gain competence and knowledge in a growing area as the cutting-edge innovation area for IT and media in Europe. Hence, MFG has opened a representation for Baden-Wuerttemberg in Second Life last March - as the first German state and prior to the Swedish who annouced the opening of their embassy for April. The installation of the "MFG Innovation Park" in Second Life, which is open especially to universities as well as to economic players, has gained a lot of respect from the industry as well as from the society.
