Christian Scholz will talk about the future of Virtual Worlds. Many projects are underway these days mostly based on OpenSim, an Open Source implementation of the Second Life server. The talk will give a little overview about what‘s available and which businesses have gathered around this already. The focus of this talk will be on a project by Linden Lab for creating an open standard for interconnecting Virtual Worlds. Christian will explain how this works and what this might mean for possible Virtual Worlds solutions.
