Conference Location

For this year’s venue, we have chosen the impressive Schwarzwaldhalle congress center located in the heart of Karlsruhe. Here, tradition and modern architecture are combined in an exceptional way. White marble, oak, bird maple and elegant design determine the spatial experience, combined with all amenities of the present-day technical possibilities.

The spacious hall, with an area of 1,400 square meters, offers adequate space for a total of 1,800 visitors. In addition, the congress center is favorably situated as a traffic facility. It lies directly in the heart of Karlsruhe. Thus, you can go for a stroll in the city after the conference has ended.

Freeway A5/A8

• If you drive the A8 from Stuttgart please follow the A5 in the direction of "Frankfurt"
• Exit the A5 at No. 45 "Karlsruhe Mitte" and follow the direction sing "Karlsruhe"
• Exit the B10 at drive No. 2 in the direction of "Stadtmitte/Zentrum"
• Please follow the direction signs "Kongresszentrum"

Freeway A65

• A65 changes into the B10
• Exit the B10 at drive No. 2 in the direction of "Stadtmitte/Zentrum"

Public transportation

Karlsruhe is an important junction of the Deutsche Bahn AG and lies directly on the ICE track Hamburg – Frankfurt – Basel. It is also the starting point of the West-East axis Karlsruhe – Stuttgart – Munich.

The central station of Karlsruhe is situated in the southern center of the city across from the Stadtgarten / Zoo. If you leave the station via the main exit, you will find taxi and streetcar stops on the station courtyard. On the opposite side you will find tourist information.

• From the direction of the central station: lines S1, S4, S11, S2
• City center: lines S1, S4, S11, S2, S5
• “Durlacher Tor”: lines S4, S2

By air

Karlsruhe is a comfortable destination if you wish to travel by air. It is in direct proximity to five international airports. The airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden in Rheinmünster, for example, can be reached within 25 minutes. The international airport Frankfurt/Main is utilized by nearly every airline and can be reached within 60 minutes via ICE train directly from the central station of Karlsruhe.
